Chung is a functional nutritionist, with a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences from University of Texas at Austin. With a holistic approach to personalised health, including sleep, exercise, stress, social connections, and nutrition, Chung helps clients understand their own nutritional and lifestyle habits, and walks together with each client on their unique journeys to become the best versions of themselves.
Chung is also a nutrition educator dedicated to simplifying and communicating the science behind health and nutrition, especially within an Asian context. Bolstered by an undergraduate background in Chemistry and Engineering from University of California at Berkeley, Chung is well-equipped to examine peer-reviewed research, break down the data and science, and provide evidence-based tips on nutrition and healthspan.
Chung is an accredited nutritionist of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA), and he is being credentialed as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) by the American Nutrition Association (ANA).
In his free time, Chung enjoys cooking and eating hearty meals, loves learning about all things science, and savours experiencing unique nexuses of history, language, and food when he gets to travel to different countries. Chung also relishes the sensation of weightlessness when he scuba dives in the beautiful waters around Southeast Asia.
